What is the minimum investment premium for both single and monthly premium?

M500.00 plus M6.00 policy fee for monthly premium and M6 500.00 plus M50.00 for single premium.

What percentage is used to calculate return on investment?

We use estimates because investments are entirely dependent on world economies. We do not apply percentages on the maturity of policies, as maturity projections are determined by actuaries.

Can I open an investment policy for my child who is under 18 years of age?

No. Investment policy can only be opened by a consenting adult who is sane, sober and under no duress. However, your child can be nominated as a beneficiary for that policy.

What is the minimum term of the policy?

5 years, and should you need longer, you can invest up to 20 years.

What happens when I die before my policy matures?

All your premiums will be returned and given to the nominated beneficiary.

In case I just want to terminate my policy before it matures, what happens?

We call this surrendering your policy and yes you can surrender your policy at any time you want. There are, however, penalties subject to surrendering 36 months since commencement.

Can I get a loan from investment?

Yes, after 36 months from commencement of policy where premiums are monthly and immediately in the case of single premium.

Can I nominate a beneficiary of my choice whenever I want?

Yes, you can nominate a beneficiary of your choosing upon taking a policy and should you decide to change them later, you are still allowed to.
